Opening doors for a distinctive new hotel brand in Australia

Bringing a boutique hotel brand to life means giving media and industry partners an authentic taste of the destination, design and experiences that set it apart.
To introduce Hotel Indigo to Australia and launch Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets, an integrated communications program was developed combining a high-impact Sydney media event, targeted industry engagement, media relations, executive profiling and familiarisation programs. Designed around the hotel's "Raw and Refined" positioning, the campaign showcased the property's distinctive design, food and beverage offering, and local South Australian influences to key media and industry stakeholders.
The campaign attracted 45 media, industry and IHG guests, strengthened relationships with key tourism partners and generated more than 50 pieces of media coverage. The launch also delivered extensive social media engagement with more than 30 event-related posts and secured inclusion in a podcast, helping establish Hotel Indigo as a distinctive new entrant to the Australian hotel market.
